1. What is "The First Ever Jewish Padel World Cup"?

"The First Ever Jewish Padel World Cup" is an international padel tournament that brings together players from the Jewish community worldwide to compete in a friendly and competitive event.

 

2. When and where will the tournament take place?

The tournament will take place from November 13th to November 17th at the Ultra Padel Club in the MARJCC of Aventura, Miami.

 

3. Who can participate in the tournament?

The tournament is open to players from all countries, ages, and all categories.

Registration

 

4. How can I register for the tournament?

You can register through our website. Registration will be open until [registration deadline].

 

5. What is the registration fee?

The registration fee is $200 per person.

 

6. What if I can't attend after registering?

If you can't attend, please inform us as soon as possible. Registration fees are non-refundable, but we may consider transferring your registration to another pair.

Tournament Format

 

7. What is the tournament format?

 

Men

For the first two days of competition and all levels, we will follow the Padel FIP

 

World Champion format:

- Teams of 3 couples / 6 or more players

- Round robin between teams

- Each rubber between teams will consist of 3 individual matches

- Each team will have to present the lineup before the rubber

- Countries will make teams

 

During the last 2 days of the tournament, we’ll do brackets with single elimination by couples. 

 

Finals will take place on Sunday, Nov 17th at the MARJCC

 

Women

For the first two days of competition, we will use the following format by level. 

- Players will be divided by level

- Round robin play

- Couples will be made by players from different or the same country

- Rotating partners

 

​During the last 2 days of the tournament, we’ll do brackets with single elimination by couples.

 

 Finals will take place on Sunday, Nov 17th at the MARJCC

 

8. How are pairings determined?

Pairs can be pre-established by participants at the time of registration. If you register without a partner, let us know, and we will find a partner for you.

Rules and Regulations

 

9. What are the tournament rules?

The tournament will follow the official rules of the International Padel Federation (FIP). This includes rules on serving, scoring, and behavior on the court.

 

10. What equipment do I need to bring?

Players must bring their padel rackets, appropriate sportswear, and a water bottle to stay hydrated. Balls will be provided by the tournament organization.

Levels and Categories

 

11. How are the competition levels divided?

The competition levels are divided into the following categories: Advanced Men, Intermediate Men, Low-Intermediate Men, Intermediate Women, and Low-Intermediate Women.

Prizes and Recognition

 

12. What are the tournament prizes?

There will be prizes for the teams that reach the finals.

 

13. Will there be any recognition for participants?

All participants will receive a certificate of participation. Additionally, special prizes will be awarded for the best player, the most sportsmanlike team, etc.

14. Will food and beverage services be available?

Yes, there will be food and beverage stands at the tournament venue. Participants and spectators can purchase food and drinks throughout the event.

 

15. Can I bring my family and friends to watch the matches?

Absolutely! The tournament is open to the public, and we encourage players to bring their friends and family to support them.
